The Missing Puzzle Piece

 

 

When I was young, I enjoyed watching cliché romance movies. Even though the plots for a lot of the movies were very predictable (which I often chose movies with "happily ever after" ending), I would immerse myself into the movie and glean vicarious happiness from the successful love story of the character. When the movie ends, I would step outside from the world of fantasy and face the reality of where I was currently in my life.

 

In these movies, the character's hard work is paid off and compensated with grand prizes; the struggles and hardships become stepping stones to success; the character finds her perfect Mr. Right who will complete her life. These movies often ended with the main character finding his/her missing puzzle piece.

I am currently in the process of gathering all the little pieces in my life. I have recently found a puzzle piece called "love", and it is truly beautiful to see how each piece can add another dimension of beauty in my life.
